Richard worked for the early part of his career  in the Leisure  Industry managing facilities. He then started to assist Ralph Clarke at Oakham Tennis Club who helped him to achieve his LTA Level 3 qualification.

 

Richard became a champion in school links and spends much of his time developing new business in Rutland and beyond. His greatest successes have been with Minis, Juniors and Adults, having a proven track record of keeping them all in the game. With a strong interest in competition, Richard has been a member of the Tennis Leicestershire Board for over 5 years and  is Chairman of the Competitions Committee for Leicestershire, organising all Junior and Adult leagues.

Ralph Clarke is a former Professional tennis player who has represented Great Britian on the European futures tour. Ralph is a former National doubles champion with Leicestershire and international level junior player.

 

Ralph is a level 4 LTA Pro and heads up Stamford TC's Performance programme which produces juniors to county and men's 1st team level.

claude badowski - R2R Director

Claude comes to Oundle Tennis Club from a US College playing background and is currently heading the program at Oundle, as well as directing the R2R Tennis program nationally.

Claude is a PTR Professional, with specialisms in Junior Performance tennis and Adult Development along with currently completing his Level 5 Master of Tennis qualification.

Claude believes in delivering high intensity and fun sessions with an emphasis on competitive skills.

cj selvidge - R2R Director

Head Coach & LTA Level 4 Senior Club Coach- CJ

Part of R2R for over eight years and heading up the Westfields Tennis Club programme, CJ has now joined the Board of Directors. In 2015 CJ became an LTA Level 4 Senior Club Coach, CJ then secured his role as the Head of Boys Tennis at Uppingham Private School. CJ ensures that players develop all aspects of their game, not only their on-court but also their off-court development as well as offering Strength and Conditioning specific sessions for that extra edge. CJ is a sociable character who will ensure that a player of any age or ability will engage in the sport. At present he holds a coaching contract through Withers Sports with Wilson providing him with all the tennis equipment he needs.

pete harding - thrapston head coach

Pete is a Licensed Level 3 Coach, winning a National Coaching Award in 2010, and has been Head Coach at Thrapston Tennis Club for over 8 Years.  Pete has also taken several tennis referee courses and has his full referee qualification (grade 5). 

 

Pete has played in the top leagues of both Leicestershire and East Northants counties.

 

Specialist areas include coaching Mini Tennis right through to Adult Coaching, setting up coaching programmes at different clubs and he is R2R's Tournament Director, with responsibility for organising the R2R tournament programme.

carole wilson - stamford club coach

Carole is an LTA Club Coach and is also a senior county player with Bedfordshire.

A fine tennis player, this experience is very much in evidence when she coaches.

 

Carole works across the range from Minis to Adults, beginners to 1st team players. Coaching in schools and at the club, Carole strives to make tennis lessons hard work but still fun. 

Carole is also a UKPRS qualified racquet stringer.
